FICO Delivery Lead – SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

As a FICO Delivery Lead, you will own the end-to-end delivery of the Finance & Controlling workstream for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud projects. You will leverage your proven implementation experience to configure robust financial solutions, lead critical data migrations, and design seamless integrations. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable diving into configuration details and steering high-level project delivery. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Project Leadership: Lead the FICO workstream, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery throughout the entire project lifecycle. 

  • Core Configuration: Configure and deploy essential SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud finance modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Cash & Bank Management. 

  • Data Migration: Execute and oversee complex multi-year Historical General Ledger balance migrations, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. 

  • Integration Design: Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design and validate integrations with key systems such as SAP Group Reporting and Central Invoice Management (CIM). 

  • Banking Solutions: Design and oversee bank integrations, specializing in file-based bank statement uploads (e.g., BAI2, CAMT formats) and related process automation. 

  • Process Validation: Partner with cross-functional teams and clients to validate financial processes, reporting structures, and master data design. 

  • Best Practice Guidance: Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on Public Cloud fit-to-standard principles, optimal configuration, and financial controls. 

  • Project Execution: Support all project phases including testing, cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare stabilization. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 full-cycle, end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud FICO implementations is mandatory. 

  • Deep Functional Expertise: Strong hands-on configuration experience in core finance: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank processes. 

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated, proven capability in executing multi-year Historical G/L balance migration. 

  • Integration Knowledge: Practical experience with integrations to SAP Group Reporting and Central Invoice Management (CIM). 

  • Banking Interface Skills: Hands-on experience with bank integration techniques using file-based upload methods (BAI2, CAMT, etc.). 

  • Excellent Communication: Outstanding client-facing skills with the ability to lead workshops, articulate complex concepts, and manage stakeholder expectations. 

  • Methodology Mastery: A strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and a firm commitment to Public Cloud fit-to-standard principles.
