Experience: 10+ years of hands-on SAP SD functional leadership experience, including SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations. 

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Lead to drive the design, configuration, and implementation of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes within SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP SD configuration, strong integration knowledge across SAP modules and external systems, and a proven ability to lead teams and stakeholders through complex implementations. This role requires close collaboration with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional leadership to deliver scalable, best-practice-driven solutions. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead end-to-end SAP SD design and configuration to meet business requirements (order-to-cash, pricing, billing, shipping, credit management). 

  • Drive solution design for complex SD scenarios including pricing procedures, output determination, copy control, and partner determination. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design and integrate SAP SD with FI, MM/Procurement, WM/EWM, and other relevant SAP modules. 

  • Own integration touchpoints between SAP SD and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., CRM, CPQ, eCommerce, third-party logistics). 

  • Oversee data migration activities related to SD objects (customers, pricing, open orders, billing documents), including mapping, validation, and reconciliation. 

  • Lead and support testing activities (unit, SIT, UAT): develop test strategies, review test scripts, manage defects, and ensure issue resolution. 

  • Provide leadership and guidance to SD consultants and business stakeholders; review configuration and ensure adherence to SAP best practices. 

  • Support go-live, hypercare, and ongoing enhancements, including issue resolution and continuous process optimization. 

  • Act as the primary SD point of contact for business users, translating business needs into functional designs and scalable SAP solutions. 

Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of hands-on SAP SD functional experience. 

  • Experience leading at least two full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations as an SD Lead. 

  • Deep configuration expertise in SAP SD including order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management. 

  • Strong experience integrating SAP SD with FI (billing, revenue recognition, accounting), MM/Procurement (pricing, purchasing flows), and other SAP modules. 

  • Experience working with SAP S/4HANA data models and S/4-specific SD innovations. 

  • Proven experience with data migration and cutover planning for SD-related objects. 

  • Strong testing experience (SIT/UAT), including test strategy definition, script review, and defect management. 

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective functional designs. 

  • Prior experience working directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams in complex implementation environments.

  • Engagement: Full-time contractor position 

  • Duration: Initial contract period to be determined based on project phase requirements
